Joe Costello | Co-Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive OfficerJoe is highly regarded for his business acumen and bold moves in the high-tech industry. In 1997, Chief Executive Magazine named Joe the top performing chief executive officer of all publicly traded companies in North America. He also made Upside Magazine's 1997 "Elite 100" list of the top executives leading the digital revolution. In addition to his position at Orb Networks, Joe is chairman of think3, a global provider of product design and development software solutions, where he also previously served as chief executive officer. Prior to think3, Joe was president and chief executive officer at Cadence Design Systems, Inc., for more than a decade. Under his leadership, Cadence became the world's leading supplier of electronic EDA software and services and one of the 10 highest-grossing software vendors in the world. Joe also acts as chairman of a number of other privately-held companies that include Readio, Abazab, SpeakESL and Soliloquy Learning. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and physics from Harvey Mudd College, a Master of Science degree in physics from Yale University and a Master of Science degree in physics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Yohan Le Nerriec | Chief Technology Officer
Yohan has over eight years of experience in software architecture, development and management. Yohan served as chief architect for Orb Networks since the company was founded in 2004 before being named as CTO. Prior to Orb, Yohan worked as a software engineer at BravoBrava!, Orb Networks’ parent company, where he headed the research project leading to Orb’s core technology. Yohan holds a Master of Science degree in telecommunications and computer science from Telecom INT (Evry, France) and Eurecom Institute (Sophia Antipolis, France), where he specialized in Multimedia Communications.

Alex Guion | Vice-President of Engineering
Alex graduated at the top of an elite engineering school (ESIL) in Marseille, France in 2004. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science, specializing in Distributed Systems & Software Development. Alex started his career at Orb focusing on streaming media. Establishing himself both technically and as a spirited leader, Alex quickly became team lead and is named in several of Orb’s core patents. Passionate about technology and music and talented manager, Alex is now leading Orb's Engineering team driving them to continuously innovate and deliver world class experiences.

Keith Thomson| Vice-President of User Experience
Keith is an award-winning software designer with over 30 years of experience creating simple, elegant, easy-to-use products for both consumers and professionals. Prior to joining Orb, Keith co-founded PicoChannel, a Silicon Valley startup that pioneered new ways to deliver personal media to digital picture frames, set-top boxes and other Internet-connected devices. Previously Keith has held VP/UX positions at Kaleidescape (high-end home media servers) and GuardID Systems (identity theft protection). As Director of the User Experience Group at Avid/Pinnacle, Keith led the team that designed the top-selling home video editing software, Pinnacle Studio. His earlier work on television graphics and animation systems for the Grass Valley Group and Dubner Computer earned two Emmy awards. Keith holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Cornell University.

David Lubinsky| Director of Marketing
David brings over 15 years of Product Management and Marketing leadership to Orb, delivering award-winning products for both early stage startups and Fortune 50's. With a passion for rich media, David has led all aspects of product life cycle from conception to development, marketing and distribution of consumer software and hardware solutions. Prior to joining Orb, David was lead Product Manager for HP Consumer PC group, where he spearheaded the development of HP's award-winning TouchSmart platform. Prior to HP, David held the role of Director of Product Management at DivX Corp, a digital video startup turned public, where he led the software licensing and distribution business unit. David has also held senior positions at Symantec Corp., Pinnacle Systems and MGI Software, where he led the first consumer-focused video-editing software suite to market leadership. David holds a B.Sc. from York University and an M.B.A from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto.

He also serves as chairman of BravoBrava!, Soliloquy Learning and Barcelona Design, and is on the boards of Catena Networks, Santa Cruz Networks and Saba. Prior to Think3, Joe played a pivotal role as president and chief executive officer at Cadence Design Systems, Inc., for more than a decade. Under his leadership, Cadence became the world's leading supplier of electronic EDA software and services and one of the ten highest-grossing software vendors in the world. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and physics from Harvey Mudd College, a Master of Science degree in physics from Yale University and a Master of Science degree in physics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Gary Morgenthaler | General Partner, Morgenthaler VenturesGary joined Morgenthaler in 1989, bringing with him 19 years of computer industry experience. Gary was a co-founder and past Chief Executive Officer of Illustra Information Technologies, Inc., and served as a Chairman of Illustra's board until it was acquired by Informix in 1995. He served as Chairman of Ingres Corporation (formerly Relational Technology) until its sale in October 1990, and was a founder of the company in 1980. Between 1984 and 1988 he was Chief Executive Officer of Ingres. Earlier he was with McKinsey & Company, Tymshare, Inc., and Stanford University's Institute for Mathematical Studies in the Social Sciences.
